November 12, 2019
Speaker(s): Blair Layton - Business Development, Database, AWS Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) offers managed database services for MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. AWS also offers Amazon Aurora with both MySQL- and PostgreSQL-compatible offerings. Customers often ask how using a managed database service is different from running a database on Amazon EC2. In this session, not only do we discuss the differences, but we also learn how to provision, back up, restore, scale, and upgrade a database using the Amazon RDS Console.
