Building serverless applications that scale

October 8, 2019
In this session, we build a simple web app that interacts with a serverless backend through a GraphQL API powered by AWS AppSync. We cover the basics of getting started using React to render a web app that talks to AWS services via the AWS Amplify JavaScript SDK and command line tooling, and we see how to use AWS AppSync to host a secure and scaleable GraphQL endpoint with data backed by Amazon DynamoDB, the serverless NoSQL data store from AWS. Speaker: Gabe Hollombe, Senior Technical Evangelist, AWS, APAC
